  • Tim Rossknecht – Advisor
    Mr Rossknecht is an engineer who has worked in the geothermal industry since 1980. As an employee of Unocal Geothermal (now a division of Chevron), the leading developer of geothermal energy worldwide, he has worked on every phase of geothermal development, both in the US and developing nations. Previous assignments included the various engineering and business development positions during the development of the Salak geothermal field on Java from discovery well to its current generation capacity of 380 megawatts. Since early 2010, in his capacity as advisor to the Agil board, he has led the technical and commercial development teams for the 140 megawatt Longonot geothermal project, recently achieving the first greenfield geothermal Power Purchase Agreement in Africa.
  • Huw Turner – Advisor
    Huw is a Director of Renewable Ventures Limited, a renewable energy service provider focused on the development of Clean Development Mechanism projects. Over the last 15 years he has worked for and advised a number of companies on a range of resource and energy projects across Africa, gaining valuable development and financial experience. Huw jointly founded Carbon Reductions Limited, a company established to develop landfill gas from energy and biomass CDM projects in South, East and West Africa. Previously, Huw worked with Argyll resources, a group set up to develop Sierra Leone’s bauxite industry through the implementation of an in-country alumina refinery.
  • Edward Parfet – Advisor
    Edward brings experience from a range of senior management positions from investment management of fixed income portfolios. As Vice President in charge of Fixed Income Investments and Banking Relations at Marsh & McLennan, Inc. in New York, Edward oversaw an investment portfolio of $600 million and the administration of over 500 bank accounts. At Genentech, Inc. he was in charge of the cash management of a $1.2 billion portfolio. In addition, as Treasury Officer of the Santa Clara Valley Water District in California, Edward was directly responsible for the investment of tax proceeds and the issuance of district bonds. Edward retired from investment management in 1996 and serves as General Manager and Director of Solio Ranch Limited in Kenya. The Solio Ranch is committed to Rhino conservation and is credited with saving the African Black Rhino from virtual extinction. Edward holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Stanford University.
